Following it is a question I recently received in email, and my answer. This is a player choice made at character creation time — the PC’s mass will not fluctuate between uses of the Glabro form. Then you got the Children of Gaia list which is various iterations of “don’t frenzy” which makes them redundant as each new renders the previously obsolete.

This material especially does not represent a co-operation between those entities. Using a similar system in Shadowrun 5th, you got an attack roll vs defense roll and the soak for the defender and it tends to feel better and not as frustrating as there is a better flow of back and forth between attacker and defender.

But I haven’t gotten around to working out a revision to the racial package that will still total up the same.

One of those apocalypes that was left out was a breakdown of how I came up with the cost of the Garou racial package. This cost is in addition to the Garou racial cost, and reflects his extra advantage in being a particularly huge or heavy specimen. My own preference is for 2nd ed.
