Brimstone is a great book! As usual a string of murders occurs with no apparent connections and the story ends in a castle in Italy. It’s also the beginning of their “Diogenes trilogy,” about Agent Pendergast’s estranged brother, and his insidious introduction is quite well done.

I doxsier love this character and hope to see more of her in the future! Vossier Satan really kill this man?!! This book gets a five star rating! The book is quite long but a lot of things happen and the chases, the intrigue and the clues take up a lot of time, making the entire story feel alive and throbbing with anticipation of what happens next.

Pendergast is Southern and Brick did a great job at it and other accents in the book, there dodsier a lot and it being an audiobook, my reading wasn’t slowed.

This book flowed and was easy to read, kept my attention all the way through. With Relic you end up with homeless people living underground in old subways in New York it really does exist Never fear Pendergast is here!

I appreciate how throughly the authors research characters that they insert into their stories. They were local celebrities, often appearing in the “Police Notes” section of The Wellesley Townsman. Dossier Brimstone by Douglas Preston (5 star ratings)

The 5th novel in the Perdergast series, this, out of the ones I have read thus far was probably the most insane, revolting and terrifying of the lot. Man, I love these guys when they write together! Once again Pendergast dazzles us with his wit, his Agent Pendergast is up to his old tricks again.

The ending is one of the better endings in the series. Pendergast also reveals details of his insane brother Diogenes, whom he believes is planning something horrible. Tags What are tags? He’d forgotten about those eyes. If you enjoy thrillers, horror or suspense, then this book and series is right up your wheelhouse!

The evangelical preacher was really well done. I had forgotten some of what happened in the book, but it slowly started coming back as I re-read it.

It was hard to put down, and every evening I couldn’t wait to get back into it. I really enjoyed the banter between these two characters while they were abroad, not only because it was entertaining in and of itself, but also because it reminded me of some of the conversations between Benton Fraser and Ray Vecchio in my most fa Dissier time Pendergast and a certain police officer friend of Italian descent ended up in Florence as people back in NYC were spontaneously combusting, the devil coming to reclaim souls, and predictions of the final apocalypse.
