Go to mode 9 and ENT and make sure it is off. If it still dont work you proabably have bad RCA wre or speaker wire. Does the amp power up? Amp being underpowered doesn’t make any sense, unless he means that the wire was of too light a wlpine to supply the amps demand, but typically that will cause overheating and the amp will click jrd-m300.
Now over driving the amp can burn out the coils in the sub.

Check your subs by tapping a battery on the wire going to them and see if they move and make a pop, if so you are good.
